The Use Qualified Path Command is available when creating content. A qualified path is one that includes all names in the hierarchic sequence above the object and the name of the object itself.
You can select the Use Qualified Path check box to only display data sources in the selected application folder. When the Use Qualified Path check box is unselected, all data sources in the application path are displayed.
When creating content or adding components to a procedure, selecting the Use Qualified Path check box will display an application folder selection area and a data source selection area. When the Use Qualified Path check box is unselected, only a data source selection area is displayed.
Procedure components that use a mix of qualified and non-qualified paths for the same data source will not work together. For example, the components that use the qualified path of a data source will work together and the components that use the non-qualified path of the same data source will work together.
If you want all components to work together, then all components need to either use the qualified path of a data source, or all components need to use the non-qualified path of a data source.
