Mapping Multiple Relationship between Related Maps

While creating an output map in the parent repository, select the multiple forward and reverse relationships. You can use the same output map with the same or different synchronization format from the related repository, that is, the child repository to be related to the parent output map.

If the same synchronization format is used, the output data retains in the same file, and if the different synchronization format is used, the data segregates into different files. The mapping between multiple relationship and related maps is useful in the following cases:

  • When a parent repository is related to the child repository by multiple relationships.
  • In a complex metadata structure where multiple relationships from the parent repository lead to the same child repository.
