Adding a Third-Party Driver to a Node
If the projects you created store data in a database, you should add a third-party driver to a node.
For detailed instructions, see the following sections:
TCT only provides a set of database driver. See TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Servie Engine Installation for more details.
Using TIBCO Configuration Tool (TCT)
TCT Configuration
The following steps show how to use TCT to configure a Third-Party driver:
1.
Run TIBCO_HOME\tct\1.1\TIBCOConfigurationTool. The TIBCO Configuration Folder dialog appears, as shown in Figure 1.

Accept the default folder, type a folder name, or click Browse to select a folder. Then click the OK button.
The TIBCO Configuration Tool dialog appears with links to the configuration wizards, as shown in Figure 2.

Select the Configure Third-Party Driver wizard.

Click the Next button in the Third-Party Driver Configuration Wizard.

Figure 5 shows the sample screen that TIBCO Database Drivers 1.0.0 driver is selected.

Click the Browse button to select the folder that contains the driver JARs. Then click the Next button.

Click the Configure button.

Click the Close button. The Third-Party driver uploaded successfully.
TIBCO ActiveMatrix Administrator Configuration
The following steps show how to add a third-party driver to a node through TIBCO ActiveMatrix Administrator:

Select Infrastructure > Nodes.

Click the Configuration tab under the selected node.

Click the Add button, and then select the driver, as shown in Figure 8.

Click the Save button.

Click the Apply button.
Adding a Third-Party Driver Manually
If a Third-Party driver cannot be added using TCT, complete the following steps to add one manually:

Select the Application tab.

Click the Configuration button, as shown in Figure 9 step 1.

Select the BWSE Component of the application, see Figure 9 step 2.

Select BW Engine Propoties, as shown in Figure 9 step 3.

Double-click the Value column of the CUSTOM_EXT_APPEND_CP property, then add the specific database driver path, as shown in Figure 9 step 4.

Click the Save button.
