Average Put Throughput of a Space

The Average Put Throughput is used to display the average Put throughput over a point in time.

You can see this information for the last 10 minutes, last 1 hour, last 4 hours, or last day.

The bottom graph shows two data series showing the number of Put operations performed by the space members and the number of seeding space members sharing the same time line.

The Space Average Put Throughput is computed based on the total number of Put operations issued by all space members over time. The unit of measurement is the number of Put operations per second. The Space Put Throughput represents how fast your applications are issuing Put operations to the spaces.

The Member Average Put Throughput is computed based on the average Put latency performed by all space members over time. The unit of measurement is the number of Put operations per second. The Member Put Throughput represents how fast the underlying ActiveSpaces engine performs a Put operation taking into account the following:

  • the latency of the network connection performance independent of how often a Put operation is issued by your applications.
