Overview of a Metaspace
The overview of a metaspace shows the following:
- Total Number of Entries: Total number of entries stored and distributed in the metaspace from all user defined spaces. This total excludes the number of replicas. The value updates automatically as entries are added and removed from the metaspace.
- Total Number of Put/Get/Take Operations : Total number of Put, Get, and Take operations performed on all user-defined spaces. The value increments automatically as operations are performed on any user space in the metapsace.
- Based on the page you are on, a graphical representation of the top five spaces based on different layers of the metaspace.
- Seven pages of information that can be run as a slideshow. The following table lists the nature of the content displayed on every page that updates periodically as the statistics changes:
- Top Spaces by Entries
The page one of the Overview section shows the top five spaces by entries. The spaces are listed in the descending order of the number of entries contained in the metaspace. Alongside the number of entries, you are also shown the percentage of entries with respect to the metaspace. - Top Spaces by Operations
The page two of the overview shows the top five spaces by operations. The page contains information about the Get, Put, and Take operations performed on a space. - Top Member by Operations
The page three of the Overview section shows the members by operations. In an integrated system, there can be many members. - Top Average Member Get Latency by Space
The Get latency is the execution time required for a Get operation. The page four shows the top five members with an average get latency. The average time displayed is in microseconds. - Top Average Member Put Latency by Space
The Put latency is the execution time required for a Put operation. - Top Average Member Get Throughput by Space
The Get throughput is the number of Get Operations you can perform in a second. The page six shows the top average member get throughput. - Top Average Member Put Throughput by Space
The Put throughput is the number of Put Operations you can perform in a second. The page seven shows the top average member get throughput.
