Configuring SAP System for bgRFC

The bgRFC transfer protocol provides a unified protocol between the SAP system and the adapter.

The adapter supports bgRFC protocol for an outbound adapter configuration and type T for transaction type only.

Procedure

  1. Configure the RFC Destination.
    1. Log in to the SAP system and run transaction SM59.
    2. Click Create on the Configuration of RFC Connections page.
    3. Enter applicable values according to your requirements into the RFC Destination.
    4. In the Warning about selection of protocol dialog, click Yes.
    5. Click Save.
  2. Configure the interface of the RFC/BAPI.
    1. Run transaction SE37.
    2. Enter a function module in the Function Module field on the Function Builder: Initial Screen page.
    3. Click Display.
    4. On the Function Builder page, select the BasXML supported check box.
