Creating Applications and Entities

An application is a container of entities. An entity is an object that is being referenced.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have created a SmartMapper ER Model shared resource before creating applications and entities.

Procedure

  1. Click the Applications tab in the SmartMapper ER Model editor.
  2. Optional: Click Add Application Folder and type a folder name in the displayed Configuration tab.
  3. Click Add Application and type an application name in the Configuration tab.
  4. Click Add Entity and configure the entity in the displayed Configuration tab. See Entity for more details.
