startAllNodes
The "startAllNodes" command starts all the Nodes in a given CONFIG_HOME irrespective of the Node startup mode, that is, Nodes with Manual startup mode are also started in addition to Nodes with Automatic startup mode.
Note: A TIBCO Host instance must be running to start the Nodes. The command will verify whether the Host instance is running or not before starting the Nodes.
Note: When using the
"startAllNodes" command in a setup containing a large number of Nodes (in Automatic startup mode), the
"delayInSeconds" parameter must be used to account for the considerable time delay (in seconds) between the Nodes' startup.
Arguments
In addition to the common arguments, you can specify the following arguments:
Argument | Description |
---|---|
-configHomeLocation | The location of the CONFIG_HOME. |
-instanceName | Name of a TIBCO Host instance. All the Nodes on the specified TIBCO Host instance are started. |
-delayInSeconds | (Optional) Delay between each TIBCO Host instance's Node startup. The command uses the default delay of 10 seconds. |
Examples
>startAllNodes -configHomeLocation /path/to/confighome/location
This starts all Nodes in the CONFIG_HOME /path/to/confighome/location.
>startAllNodes -configHomeLocation /path/to/confighome/location -instanceName myTibcoHostInstance
This starts all the Nodes managed by the TIBCOHost Instance "myTibcoHostInstance" in the CONFIG_HOME /path/to/confighome/location.
> startAllNodes -configHomeLocation /path/to/confighome/location -delayInSeconds 30
This starts all Nodes in the CONFIG_HOME /path/to/confighome/location and adds delay of 30 seconds between each Node's startup.
