Restoring a BPM System from a Backup
You may need to restore a BPM system from a backup that you have made, perhaps because an upgrade of the BPM system has failed.
Procedure

Shut down the BPM system.

Shut down the EMS server.
See the TIBCO Enterprise Message Service documentation for more information.

Copy the contents of the
TIBCO_HOME and
CONFIG_HOME directories from the backup to their original location.

Recover the BPM database and ActiveMatrix Administrator server databases and make them available.

Recover and restart the EMS server.

Restart the BPM system.

In TIBCO Administrator:
- Make sure the BPM application has a status of
Running.
- Make sure your project applications are in the same state that they were when you took the backup.
