Verifying the Event Collector Rules Files

The event collector rules files ec-probe-rules.xml and ec-event-rules.xml changed in ActiveMatrix BPM version 3.0. If you are using modified rules, you should check that the rules files are OK after upgrade.

Procedure

  • You should:
    • Check that each channel is now defined in the following format: 
      <channel name='abcde' target='target'>
    • Verify that the rules files are configured as desired.
    • Ensure the BPM.log file has no errors that concern the parsing of the rules files. For more information, see "Configuring TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM Auditing" in the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM Administration guide.
