Network Support

ActiveMatrix BPM supports Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) and version 4 (IPv4).

Note: Use of IPv6 requires an IPv6 compatible version of TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS).

ActiveMatrix BPM supports:

  • pure IPv4 configurations
  • mixed-mode configurations where each network interface may have both IPv6 and IPv4 addresses
  • pure IPv6 configurations

Note: Wherever you need to provide a machine name (or hostname) when using ActiveMatrix BPM, TIBCO recommend that you use names that are resolved by the system address translation mechanism (DNS aliases or local host files) rather than literal IPv6 or IPv4 addresses.
