A logging configuration is modeled with nested

AppenderRef, and
Appender elements. The
Logger specifies the name and additivity properties. The
AppenderRef element specifies the logging level. The
Appender element references a logging appender.
The name of the logging configuration. The logging configuration name must be the name of a logger in the source code or the name of the package in which the source code is contained.

All events of a level equal to or lower than the specified level are logged. For the Info level, Info, Warn, Error and Fatal events are logged. One of:
TRACE All events.
DEBUG Fine-grained informational events used for debugging an application.
INFO Coarse-grained informational messages that highlight the progress of the application.
WARN Potentially harmful events.
ERROR Errors that allow the application to continue running.
FATAL Errors that cause the application to fail.
