Windows Installation Guidelines

Follow these guidelines to install product on Windows platform.

• Installer Account
  You must have administrator privileges for the machine on which the software is installed.
• Installing from a Network Drive
  If you intend to install the product from a network drive, ensure that the account used for installation has permission to access the network drive. The account must have read and execute permission for the directory path where the installer file is located.
• Installing on Windows 2000 Terminal Server
  The two modes in a terminal server are execute and install. By default, all users are logged on in execute mode. Using the execute mode, users can run the applications. When you want to install the software for use by everyone, the administrator should change to Install mode.
