Developer Portal Installation

The Developer Portal is implemented using the Adapter Code for TIBCO API Exchange and Joomla! component of TIBCO API Exchange. Joomla is open-source software that enables development of web portals. Installation of Joomla requires that you install the following open source applications:

Apache Web Server

A public-domain open source web server developed by a loosely-knit group of programmers (the Apache Software Foundation).

MySQL

An open-source relational database management system (RDBMS). The SQL phrase stands for Structured Query Language.

PHP

A server-side scripting language designed for web development but also used as a general-purpose programming language.

Cobalt Extensions

A library of programming extensions to Joomla that provides additional of pages with customized functionality. The Developer Portal requires installation of several Cobalt extensions.
