Planning and Configuring the Local Edition Cluster

Software Prerequisites

We recommend deploying the TIBCO Cloud™ API Management - Local Edition cluster from the API Management - Local Edition installer container that packages all of the required CLI utilities to deploy on AWS. These utilities include:

Platform Prerequisites

To deploy on AWS, a service account SecretAccessKey and AccessKeyID CSV file is required.

If you do not yet have a service account, you must create one, and obtain IAM credentials. For the required steps, see:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/id_users_create.html

The following shows an example from the AWS Console:

Ensure that you download the .csv file, as it is needed for Local Edition deployments.

After the TML images are built, copy the /var/jenkins_home/docker-deploy/ folder in the tml-installer container to the host.

Following is an example command to copy the folder in current working directory on the host.
docker cp < tml-installer container id >:/var/jenkins_home/docker-deploy

To customize deployment, navigate to the /docker-deploy/aws/openshift/ folder on the host and update the reference manifest deployment file, manifest-single-zone.json.
