Capacity and Sizing

You must gauge the disk space used by the checkpoint metadata and have an estimate of the query capacity.

  • Disk Space Used by the Checkpoint Metadata
    The amount of disk space used by the checkpoint metadata is dependent on which rows are changed, and how often checkpoints are recorded.
  • Query Capacity
    Mirror grids must be provisioned appropriately for the load expected of them. A grid that serves as both a read replica and a DR grid, must be capable of handling the total of both the normal load when being used as a read replica and the normal load of the primary grid, in case it is changed to the primary grid.
