Recovery Time Objective

After an event occurs that requires changing to the disaster recovery site, the recovery time objective defines how much downtime a user can tolerate.

This objective guides the disaster recovery cutover process definition. ActiveSpaces disaster recovery cutover involves reestablishing communications with a primary FTL realm service at the primary site in order to establish communications for ActiveSpaces processes, and then changing setting one of the available and running DR grids to the new primary grid in the gridset. Users must evaluate how this process fits into their existing DR policy to determine how to meet their recovery time objective.
