Running the Tutorial

To run the tutorial, perform the following steps on the trading partner machine:

    Procedure

  1. Create a deployment configuration, deploy, and start TIBCO BusinessConnect™ Container Edition.

    During the deployment process, the default behavior is to start the deployed service. For more information on deployment, see the TIBCO BusinessConnect™ Container Edition Installation and Deployment guide.

  2. Open the HIPAA_RTPatientEligibility project and configure the "Receive 270 Sync Request" process in TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ 6.x.

    Note: HIPAA_RTPatientEligibility_for_bw6.zip file is in the bcce-edihipaa-1.0.0/samples/bw/HIPAA_RTPatientEligibility directory.

On the host machine, perform the following steps:

    Procedure

  1. Create a deployment configuration, deploy, and start TIBCO BusinessConnect™ Container Edition.

  2. Send the HIPAA 270 transaction from TIBCO Business Studio. See Send the HIPAA 270 Transaction.

  3. Verify the results of sending the message. See Expected Results and Viewing Logs.
