The following section provides a migration procedure to migrate from an earlier version to TIBCO BusinessConnect™ Container Edition - EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition powered by Instream® 1.0.0.

Migrating from BusinessConnect EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition powered by Instream

Perform the following steps to migrate from an earlier version of TIBCO BusinessConnect™ EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition powered by Instream® to TIBCO BusinessConnect™ Container Edition - EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition powered by Instream® 1.0.0:

Procedure

1. While BusinessConnect™ EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition powered by Instream version 6.x is still installed, stop all the TIBCO BusinessConnect™ engines. Then, export the installation configuration file in the TIBCO Administrator GUI.

2. In the left panel, click BusinessConnect.
3. In the right panel, click Manage.
4. In the Management area, click Export in the Import and Export section.
5. Click Export and wait for the export process to complete.

   Optional: Set the password.

6. After the export process is completed, click Download, and save the exported .csx file to a desired location.
7. Install TIBCO BusinessConnect™ Container Edition - EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition powered by Instream® 1.0.0. See Installing Protocol.
8. After you install TIBCO BusinessConnect™ Container Edition - EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition powered by Instream® 1.0.0 and redeploy all the BusinessConnect Container Edition servers, perform the following steps:
   1. Log in to the TIBCO Admin Server.
   2. On the System Settings tile > General, click Installation Properties.
   3. On the Installation Properties tab, click Import configuration.
   4. In the Importing Configuration Data dialog, click Upload file. Locate the file downloaded in Step 6, upload the exported .csx file, and provide the password (if any).
   5. Click Import and wait for the import process to complete.
