User Authentication Configuration
User Authentication Configuration allows you to add or remove the user authentication source for TIBCO BusinessConnect Container Edition. The user authentication source types are as follows:
| • | Open LDAP server, which is used only for external users. |
| • | TIBCO BusinessConnect Container Edition database, which is used both for internal and external users. |
The user authentication sources are listed by priority on the User Authentication Configuration. At the run time, the external user is authenticated against the source in the top to bottom order. However, when you manage the users on the User Management > Users page, only the source at the top is considered as the target source in your management activities.
You can manage the user authentication as follows:

| • | Adding an Authentication Source |
| • | Editing an Authentication Source |
| • | Deleting Authentication Source |
