Introduction 

 TIBCO BusinessConnect EDI Protocol HIPAA Edition powered by
Instream is used to conduct e-business within the healthcare
industry in compliance with the HIPAA standard. It contains
transaction guidelines, example interfaces and example data
files. It also contains the HIPAA external code sets used for
validating HIPAA transaction code set elements by value.  

This software works with TIBCO BusinessConnect EDI Protocol
powered by Instream, a business protocol designed to provide
the EDI data transformation and canonicalization functionality
which enhances the capabilities of the TIBCO BusinessConnect
integration platform.
