Browsing Category Tree
- Allows browsing and searching of Classification Code within the tree based on the name.
- Allows viewing of linked attributes and the inherited attributes.
The Classification Scheme which are defined using the Classification Scheme Editor are deployed using the MDM Studio. Since the definition of Classification Scheme is managed in MDM Studio, it is necessary to deploy all the artifacts to the MDM Server.
For example, in large departmental stores we find all the products we need in our day to day life. It is well organized and arranged such that customers can easily find the items in their shopping list. From the retailers point of view, managing such huge products and stock taking is a challenge. Hence the products are grouped and sub-grouped, categorized and sub-categorized depending on the nature of product. Thus allowing the retailer to capture the various details of a product based on its group and category.
