Third-party Software Requirements

Additional third-party software is required when you install TIBCO Business Studio - BPM Edition.

Note: When you obtain third-party software or services, it is your responsibility to ensure you understand the license terms associated with such third-party software or services and comply with such terms.

The following software and assemblies are required before installing TIBCO Business Studio - BPM Edition:

  • JRE 11.x (included in installation). Ensure that users stay up to date with Java patches issued by Oracle.
  • Eclipse SWT (Standard Web Toolkit) GTK

    The TIBCO Business Studio - BPM Edition installer for Linux 64 bit distributions downloads the Eclipse SWT GTK module, which contains the following items:

    • The Free Software Foundation, Gnome Binding
    • The Free Software Foundation, GTK+ Binding

      The .zip file required is as follows:

      product_tibco_eclipse_lgpl_4.11.0.001_linux_x86_64.zip

      While installing TIBCO Business Studio - BPM Edition, you are prompted to accept the license agreement, followed by an option to download the assembly from TIBCO's website, or to select it from the disk.

    Note: The minimum version required is GTK + version 2.24.
