Adding the Ticker Event

1. Right click the Events folder, and select New > Simple Event.
2. Name the event Ticker. Click Finish.
3. In the Simple Event editor, Properties section, add these fields (the same as you added to the metric in Adding a Metric):
   • Name: Ticker. Type: String (the default type).
   • Name: Price. Type: double.
   • Name: Volume. Type: long.
   • Name: CompanyName. Type: String.
4. Save the event.
