Chart Configuration Options

You can configure the chart properties to control its appearance and behavior.

A chart has the following sets of properties:

  • Chart Type - Various types of charts are available, such as column, bar, line, pie, range, area, scatter, and tabular. See Table 6, Chart Types,.
  • Type Options - Depending on the chart type, you configure various layout options such as width of bars in a bar chart, color of text, and so on.
  • Data Settings - Data settings define the source of the chart data specify the value field and category field, and so on.
  • Alerts Settings - These options enable you to change the appearance of elements in the chart based on specific data conditions.
  • Related Charts - You can list other relevant charts within the project that the Dashboard user may wish to switch to from this chart.
