Before You Begin

In TIBCO BusinessEvents Views, it is important to visualize the information that is critical for business before you begin developing a dashboard.

Try to visualize the information that you want to display on the dashboard in the form of dashboard components. For example, if you want to show number of debit events per specified time interval, you could create a column or line chart. If you want to see the number of suspended accounts compared to the total number of accounts, a pie chart would be more appropriate.

Once you decide the information you want to see and the form you want to see it in, you generate the data, and decide how to visualize it.

Tip:
Wizards in TIBCO BusinessEvents Views
Configuration wizards enable you to create deployable metrics, data sources, pages, charts, and so on with minimal configuration. Wizards use default values for less frequently used settings such as text formatting settings. When you edit these resources, their editors give access more configuration options than are provided in the wizards.
