Related Concepts

To view concepts you can specify a query or you can click an internal URL link on a metric field.

A concept does not have historical data. However it can be linked to other concepts. For example, an account concept may be related to an address concept and to multiple order concepts. An order concept may contain many line item concepts. You can expand rows to view all these related concepts. You can group each expanded section using different fields.

When you analyze a set of related concepts in the Drilldown Results section, you may be able to drill down more than one level.

For example, a customer concept may be related to an order concept, which may contain a line item concept. Suppose you make a query to return a list of such customers in the Drilldown Results section. You can then do the following:

  • Drill down on one customer to view the list of their orders
  • Drill down on one order to view its line items

You can also use the group by and sort features at any level. See The Group By Feature for Results.
