Creating an Amazon Common Services Shared Resource Connection

This section describes why the shared resource is needed and what is the function of shared resource.

Prerequisites

The Amazon Connection shared resource is available at the Resource level. Before creating an Amazon shared resource, ensure that you have created a project as described in Creating a Project.

Procedure

  1. Expand the created project in the Project Explorer view.
  2. Right-click the Resources folder and select New > Amazon Connection.
  3. Type a name in the Resource Name field in the Amazon Connection dialog. Click Finish.
  4. Configure the Amazon Connection shared resource in the displayed editor, as described in Amazon Common Services Shared Connection Resource.
  5. Click Test Connection to validate the connection.
