Deploying an Application

In the Getting Started tutorial, the final task you must do using the plug-in is to deploy an application. After testing, if the configured process works as expected, you can deploy the application that contains the configured process into a runtime environment, and then use the bwadmin utility to manage the deployed application.

Before you begin

Before deploying an application, you must test the process as described in Testing the Process and generate an application archive, which is an enterprise archive (EAR) file that is created in ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™.

    Procedure

  1. Upload an application archive.
  2. Deploy the application archive.
  3. Start the application.
