Creating a Google PubSub Connection

After creating a project, you have to create a Google Connection shared resource to create a connection between the plug-in and the Google PubSub server.

Prerequisites

The Google Connection shared resource is available at the Resources level. Ensure that you have created a project, as described in Creating a Project.

Procedure

  1. Expand the created project in the Project Explorer view.
  2. Right-click the Resources folder and click New > Google PubSub Connection to open the Google PubSub Connection wizard.
  3. The resource folder, package name, and resource name of the Google PubSub connection are provided by default. If you do not want to use the default configurations, change them accordingly. Click Finish to open the Google PubSub Connection editor.
  4. Configure the Google PubSub Connection shared resource in the Google PubSub Connection editor.

  5. Click Test Connection to validate the connection.
