Creating an IBM i Shared Resource

To use the activities in TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for IBM i, you need to create an IBM i shared resource. The IBM i shared resource describes the connection between the plug-in and the IBM i system.

1. Expand the created project in the Project Explorer view.
2. Right-click the Resources folder and select New > IBM i Connection.
3. Type a name in the Resource Name field in the IBMi Connection dialog. Click Finish.
4. Configure the IBM i shared resource in the IBM i Connection editor, as described in IBM i Shared Resource.
5. Click Test Connection to validate the connection.
