Ensure that your system meets the hardware and software requirements before installing the plug-in.
Platform
Before you run the installer, ensure that the appropriate platform is supported. See the
readme file for information regarding supported operating system platforms, versions, and the required patches.
Disk Space
The installer requires some space in the temporary directory before installation, and additional space in the temporary directory to run the installer. Ensure that sufficient space is available in the directory that you want to use as the installation environment (
TIBCO_HOME).
Note: While installing the product, avoid running other processes that use disk space in the installation environment directory. If another process uses disk space while the installer is copying files, the installer might fail and display a failure message.

Ensure that you have installed the required software before you run the installer. See the
readme file for supported products and versions.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Applications

Required. The plug-in requires JDE applications. The plug-in does not require the JDE application to be installed on the same machine as the plug-in.

JDE Connectivity Library
|
Required. For the plug-in to connect to the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne enterprise server, JAR files for the Java connectivity API must be copied to the machine on which the plug-in is installed. Complete the following steps to copy the JAR files and the
jdelog.properties file to a folder:
- Copy the desired JAR files to a folder from the enterprise server, such as from the following directory:
JDE_HOME\E9xx_1\system\classes\samples\ConnectorSamples.zip\lib.
- Copy the
jdelog.properties file to the same folder from the enterprise server, such as from the following directory:
JDE_HOME\E9xx_1\system\classes\samples\ConnectorSamples.zip\config.
