Installing Plug-ins using BusinessWorks Plug-ins Manager

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ plug-ins can be installed from within TIBCO Business Studio™ for BusinessWorks™ using BusinessWorks Plug-ins Manager.

The TIBCO BusinessWorks Plug-ins Manager provides you to select various plug-ins in a simplified manner.

Procedure

  1. Start TIBCO Business Studio for BusinessWorks if it has not already been started.
    • On Microsoft Windows, click Start > All Programs > TIBCO > TIBCO_HOME > TIBCO Business Studio <version> > Studio for Designers.
    • On Linux or macOS, run the TIBCO Business Studio for BusinessWorks executable located in the TIBCO_HOME/studio/<version>/eclipse directory.
  2. From the menu, select Help > BusinessWorks Plug-ins Manager.
    Optionally, click the Plug-ins Manager button in the Palette section.
    TIBCO Business Studio for BusinessWorks fetches the list of available plug-ins from the BusinessWorks update site and displays the TIBCO BusinessWorks Plug-ins Manager dialog box.
  3. From the list of plug-ins, select the plug-ins to install.
    The list of plug-ins is displayed based on your selection of options on the Options tab. The Options are:
    • Show only installed plug-ins
    • Show only not installed plug-ins
    • Show only the latest versions

    The Details tab shows the information of selected plug-ins.

  4. Click Install.
    The Install dialog box is displayed.
  5. In the Install dialog box, select the list of components to install. Click Next.
  6. In the Install Details dialog box, review the components to install. Click Next.
  7. In the Review Licenses dialog box, review the licenses, and click I accept the terms of the license agreement.
  8. To start the plug-ins installation, click Finish.

What to do next

Restart TIBCO Business Studio for BusinessWorks to verify the installed plug-ins.
