System Requirements

Ensure that your system meets the hardware and software requirements before installing the plug-in.

Platform

Before you run the installer, ensure that the appropriate platform is supported. See the readme file for information regarding supported operating system platforms, versions, and the required patches.

Disk Space

The installer requires some space in the temporary directory before the installation, and additional space in the temporary directory to run the installer. Ensure that sufficient space is available in the directory that you want to use as the installation environment (TIBCO_HOME).
Note: While installing the product, avoid running other processes that use disk space in the installation environment directory. If another process uses disk space while the installer is copying files, the installer might fail and display a failure message.

Software

Ensure that you have installed the required software before you run the installer. See the readme file for supported products and versions.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Required.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks supports your integration project throughout the project life cycle. It includes a common graphical user interface for configuration, process design, and deployment.

TIBCO® Enterprise Administrator Optional.

TIBCO Enterprise Administrator consists of a TIBCO Enterprise Administrator server, a web user interface for the server, and a shell interface, with which you can manage the applications that you create in TIBCO Business Studio.

Software Description
Oracle E-Business Suite Required.

Oracle E-Business Suite is a complete set of business applications for managing and automating processes across your enterprise.

You need copies of the Oracle JDBC library and the Oracle Advanced Queuing library on your machine, because they are required during the installation.

  • The JDBC library is located under the ORACLE_DB_HOME\jdbc\lib directory. Choose the appropriate JAR file, ojdbc5.jar, ojdbc6.jar, or ojdbc14.jar.

    Note: The JAR files available depend on the version of Oracle Database you use.

    Oracle JPublisher requires JDBC libraries. Choose the appropriate JAR file based on the version of the Oracle JPublisher you use. The ojdbc14.jar file is used for JPublisher 9.2.0.1, 10.1.x, and 10.2.x, and the ojdbc5.jar and ojdbc6.jar files are used for JPublisher 11.x.

  • The Advanced Queuing library, aqapi.jar, is located under the ORACLE_DB_HOME\RDBMS\jlib directory.
