Patterns Shared Resources

The plug-in has one shared resource which is used to make a connection to a TIBCO Patterns server.

 

Patterns Connection

 

The TIBCO Patterns connection is a shared resource that contains all necessary parameters to connect to a TIBCO Patterns server. The TIBCO Patterns connection must be specified when running any of the activities that connects to a TIBCO Patterns server. You can configure the connection to a TIBCO Patterns server using the host and the port address. For a connection to a Patterns gateway, a layout name may also be given. For information on Patterns gateways and layouts see the "Prefilters and Scaling, Scaling for Large Data Sets and Workloads - Clustering" chapter in the TIBCO Patterns Concepts Guide. The Patterns Connection shared resource must be configured first. Most of the other TIBCO Patterns activities can override the shared connection information at run time.

General

The General tab has the following fields:

TIBCO Patterns Connection Configuration

The Patterns Connection Configuration tab has the following fields:

Test Connection Button

Test Connection button allows you to test the Patterns Connection configuration by sending a message to the TIBCO Patterns server at the specified host and port. The test results are displayed in a popup dialog box.
