Configuring a Process

After creating a project, an empty process is created. You can add activities to the empty process to complete a task. For example, write a PDF file.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have created an empty process when Creating a Project.

Procedure

  1. In the Project Explorer view, click the created project and open the empty process from the Process folder.
  2. Select activities from the palette library and drop them in the Process editor. For example, select and drop the Timer activity from the General Activities palette, and the PDFWriter activity from the PDF palette.
  3. Click an activity in the Process editor and drag the icon to create a transition between the activities.
  4. Configure the added activities, as described in PDF Palette.

  5. Click File > Save to save the process.
