The migration of adapter configurations of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 5.x projects to a shared resource in TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6.x projects.
On migration, the name of the shared resource is the same as Instance Name of Siebel Adapter Configuration in BW5 project and extension of shared resource is
siebelconnectionResource. For example,
SiebelAdapterConfiguration.siebelconnectionResource.
Fields present under
Run-time Connection tab of Siebel Adapter Configuration gets migrated to
Connection tab fields of the shared resource.
In the
Configuration tab of the ActiveEnterprise Adapter activity, the Siebel Adapter Service must be mentioned for migration. Only the schema that is referenced by the linked Siebel Adapter Service is fetched online using Siebel server details and is migrated under the Siebel Objects tab of the Siebel Object Editor resource. The Siebel Object Editor is created under the
Resources folder.
