While migrating projects from ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Siebel to ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for Siebel, there are some fields in the Siebel Adapter Configuration that do not support migration.
The following fields on the
Configuration tab of the Siebel Adapter Configuration in ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Siebel are not supported for migration:
- Description
- Version
- Message Filter
- Show All Tabs
- Change Version
The following fields on the Run-time Connection tab of the Siebel Adapter Configuration in ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Siebel are not supported for migration:
- Select Connection Type
- Siebel Server
- Trace Type
- Number of Reconnect Attempts Before Suspending Impacted Service(s)
- Adapter Termination Criteria (after max number of reconnect attempts)
- Reconnect before Service Execution
The
Http Port to Listen to Siebel Events from
Adapter Services tab of Siebel adapter configuration must be type of integer.
The value of
Number of Threads of the
Adapter Services tab of Siebel adapter configuration is migrated as value for
Connection Pool Size in
Client tab of Siebel Connection shared resource for Siebel plug-in.
The value of
Number of Connections to Siebel and
Number of Threads to Process Siebel Events from
Adapter Services tab of Siebel adapter configuration, are considered while performing the migration and assign the value to
Number of Connections to Siebel of the
Server tab of Siebel Connection shared resource for Siebel plug-in.
Note: If the value of
Number of Connections to Siebel is greater than zero then, this value is assigned to
Number of Connections to Siebel of
Server tab of Siebel Connection shared resource for Siebel plugin, else value of
Number of Threads to Process Siebel Events from
Adapter Services tab of Siebel adapter configuration is greater than zero, then this is assigned to
Number of Connections to Siebel of
Server tab of Siebel Connection shared resource for Siebel plug-in.
The following tabs of the Siebel Adapter Configuration in ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Siebel are not supported for migration.
