Migrating projects with Invoke an Adapter Request-Response Service Activity and Request-Response Service

You can migrate your projects that use the Invoke an Adapter Request-Response Service activity from ActiveEnterprise Adapter palette and Request-Response Service of TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Tuxedo to Invoke Oracle Tuxedo Service Activity in TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ Plug-in for Oracle Tuxedo.

Procedure

  1. Perform step 1 to step 5 of Migrating projects from Adapter to Plug-in.
All the migrated projects are displayed in the Project Explorer view at the parent level.

All the schemas defined under AESchemas folder of the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 5.x project do not get migrated. In the Configuration tab of the Invoke Adapter Request Response Service activity in TIBCO ActiveMatrix® Adapter for Tuxedo, an Adapter Service should be mentioned for migration. Only the schema that is referenced by the Invoke Adapter Request Response Service activity is re-generated during migration.

All the configurations of the Invoke an Adapter Request Response Service activity is migrated to respective fields of Invoke Oracle Tuxedo Service activity under General tab. The schema is re-generated when migrating and populated to Input Schema and Output Schema on the General tab of the Invoke Oracle Tuxedo Service activity. The Service Name on General tab of the Invoke Oracle Tuxedo Service activity gets populated during adapter to plug-in migration from the ServiceName element of the Input tab of the Invoke Adapter Request Response Service activity.

Note: Only literal values are supported during adapter to plug-in migration for service name.
Note: In the migrated activity, the fields that are not present in the Invoke Adapter Request Response Service activity but are present in the Invoke Oracle Tuxedo Service activity will have default values. These fields can be configured through JSON preference file. For more information, see Working with Preference File (JSON) for migration.
  2. To run the migrated project, from the menu bar click Run > Debug Configurations.
  3. In the Debug Configurations windows, click Debug.
