General

The following table describes the fields on the General tab of the ReceiveShortMessage activity.

Name	No	The name of the activity displayed in the process. The default value is `ReceiveShortMessage`.
SMPP Connection	Yes	Select a shared resource by completing the following steps: Click the Choose/Create Default Resource icon to open the Select smppConnectionResource Resource Template window, where all the available resources are listed. In the Matching items panel, select one shared resource by clicking it. Click OK.
Event type	Yes	The list has the following options: Default message: to start the activity on receiving a text message. SMSC delivery receipt: to start the activity on receiving a message delivery notification.
