As a part of the workflow that deletes a record, update the record status to
INACTIVE.
When a record is deleted then
wfin26producteditapprovalv3.xml will be invoked which has evaluate rule base activity to run the catalog validation file where below constraint is executed to assign or update the record status to
INACTIVE.
