Migrating on TIBCO CIM 8.2.x and TIBCO MDM Add-on for Global Data Synchronization 3.0.0

If you are currently on TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager (CIM) 8.2.x and TIBCO GDSN 3.0.0:

Procedure

  1. Install TIBCO MDM 9.0.0.
  2. Run the latest applicable hotfix for TIBCO MDM 9.0.0 HF-005 onwards.
  3. Run the TIBCO MDM Migration wizard from the Configurator.
  4. Specify the upgrade details like previous and new installation locations of the MQ_HOME directory and click Next.
  5. Specify the existing and new common values (MQ_COMMON_DIR) and configuration (ConfigValues.xml) information and click Next.
  6. Select Complete Migration and click Next.
  7. Specify the database details like database name, user name, and password.
  8. Click Finish.
  9. Repeat steps 3 to 5 and select the Rules migration option.
  10. A warning is displayed. Click OK to ignore the warning. However, if you have modified the orglist.txt and orglist-processSelection.txt files, click Finish.
  11. Install the latest version of TIBCO MDM Add-on For Global Data Synchronization 3.0.2.
  12. Copy the following jars:
    • From GDSN_HOME\lib\plugins to MQ_HOME\lib\plugins
    • From GDSN_HOME lib\props to MQ_HOME\lib\props
  13. Specify the MQ_COMMON_DIR path and click Next.
  14. Specify the database details like database name, user name, and password.
  15. Click Finish.
