ibi MDM Add-on for Global Data Synchronization

ibi MDM provides Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) functionality through an add-on component that be installed on a computer where the standard version of ibi MDM is already installed.

Most of the functionality between ibi MDM and ibi MDM Add-on for Global Data Synchronization is common. The add-On provides incremental functionality specific to GDSN, displayed through the menu options, pages, and options on the pages.

This add-on includes GDSN specific workflows, maps, rulebases, and so on. GDSN specific UI and functionality are not available with the ibi MDM edition.

Note: When the add-on is installed, resource bundles are not switched automatically. Due to this the ibi MDM installation can continue using the terminology even when the add-on is installed. You can switch the language bundle through the Software Edition property in the Configurator.
