Uploading Data from TIBCO Data Virtualization

You can upload your data from TIBCO Data Virtualization to TIBCO Clarity.

Procedure
1. On the "Get data from" page, click Data Virtualization.
2. In the "Import from TIBCO Data Virtualization" dialog, if you want to use an existing connection, select a connection from the Saved connections list.
3. If you want to create a new connection to the Data Virtualization, select Create new connection from the Saved connections list.
   1. In the Database URL field, enter the URL of the database that you want to connect to.
   2. In the User name and Password fields, enter your user name and password used to connect to the database.
   3. In the Login timeouts (sec) field, specify a timeout interval in seconds.
      The default value is 10.
4. If you want to save the connection, keep the Remember me check box selected. Otherwise, clear this check box.
5. Click Connect.
6. Select a method to fetch data when a valid connection is established:
   Fetch data: select a table from the displayed Fetch data list. If you want to upload the source name, select the Store source name check box.

   Select a schema: select a schema from the displayed Select a schema list.

   Select a table: select a table from the displayed Select a table list.
7. Click Next.
