CustomTypeIdentifiersCreateTypeIdentifier Method (String, String, String, Boolean)

 Spotfire 14.7 API Reference
Creates a new custom type identifier. The identifier must have a unique name on the form "MyCompany.MyComponent". Furthermore, it should have a displayName that is a localized human readable name of the type. The description should describe what the type is for, and how to get it when it is missing.

Parameters

name
Type: SystemString
The unique name of the type identifier.
displayName
Type: SystemString
Human readable name.
description
Type: SystemString
The description.
anonymizeInUsageLog
Type: SystemBoolean
If the name of the identifier should be anonymized in usage logging related to licenses (default is true).

Return Value

Type: CustomTypeIdentifier
A TypeIdentifier instance.
