Spotfire 14.3 API Reference

This class enables pieces of code to be synchronously executed on the main application thread. This is required if the document is to be accessed from any other thread.

The ApplicationThread type exposes the following members.

	Equals	Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object. (Inherited from Object.)
	ExecuteOnWorkerThread(String, WorkerThreadExecutor)	Considers the specified workerThreadExecutor for asynchronous execution on a worker thread. The executor may also be executed synchronously on the calling thread. In any case the thread that executes it will inherit settings from the application thread.
	ExecuteOnWorkerThread(String, WorkerThreadExecutor, ThreadPriority)	Considers the specified workerThreadExecutor for asynchronous execution on a worker thread. The executor may also be executed synchronously on the calling thread. In any case the thread that executes it will inherit settings from the application thread.
	Finalize	Allows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)
	GetHashCode	Serves as the default hash function. (Inherited from Object.)
	GetType	Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
	Invoke	Synchronously executes the specified delegate on the main application thread.
	InvokeAsynchronously	Asynchronously executes the specified delegate on the main application thread.
	InvokeEnqueued	Called when an invoke to the application thread is enqueued.
	MemberwiseClone	Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
	ToString	Returns a string that represents the current object. (Inherited from Object.)

Remarks

An instance of this class is available as a service on the application. To obtain the object ApplicationThread object, call GetService on any document node attached to the document or get it from the Services property on the application object.
