Creates a dependency on a dataselection identified by identifier. If a dependency with that identifier already exists it will replace the old dependency with the new one.

Parameters

identifier: Type: Spotfire.Dxp.Application.Calculations CalculationDependencyIdentifier
The CalculationDependencyIdentifier used to identify and ask for the columns.

selection: Type: Spotfire.Dxp.Data DataSelection
The DataSelection to add a dependency on.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
System ArgumentNullException	If identifier and/or selection is null.

Remarks

Note that a filtering selection will not cause automatic recalculation even if the updatebehavior is set to Calculate. The reason is that this might cause slow performance when filtering. It is recommmended to use Invalidate behavior instead.
