PromptService Prompt Method TIBCO Spotfire 6.5 API Reference
Prompts the user for input by showing a modal dialog operating on the specified promptModel. A view of type Form must previously have been registered for the type of the specified promptModel by overriding RegisterViews(AddIn ViewRegistrar).

The model object that shall operated on by the dialog that interacts with the user.

System InvalidOperationExceptionIf prompting is not allowed or if the ViewRegistry does not have a registered view for the specified promptModel.
