FittingModelCollectionAddNew Method (TypeIdentifier) TIBCO Spotfire 7.6 API Reference
Adds a new fitting model. The type identifiers for the built-in fitting models are defined in FittingModelTypeIdentifiers.

Type: Spotfire.Dxp.Framework.DocumentModelTypeIdentifier
The type identifer of the fitting model.

Return Value

Type: FittingModel
The newly created fitting model.
Exceptions
ExceptionCondition
InvalidOperationException Thrown if no factory is found for the type identifier.
Examples
The following example shows how to add a StraightLineFittingModel from a TypeIdentifier.
