Modifying Settings for Statistica Engine

1. To modify the settings for Statistica Engine, click Settings tab of Statistica Integration dialog box.
2. Select the Statistica Engine to be used, from Embedded, Installed, and Custom options.
   • Embedded: This is the default option. Select this option to choose the Statistica engine available as the Spotfire extension or package. You can optionally provide a Configuration folder. Statistica Enterprise option is not available for Embedded mode.
   • Installed: This option is enabled if Statistica Desktop is installed locally (13.5 or later). Select this option to use the Statistica engine distributed with Statistica installation. You can select the Enable check box to use Statistica Enterprise option. If you do not specify the Username and Password explicitly, it would be integrated login.
   • Custom: This option is used for troubleshooting only and not to be used by general user.
3. To point to a configuration folder, click the adjacent Select button.
